Megan + Wes - EVENTMRKT

I started Meg and Wes’ big day getting ready with the gents. Wes had such an amazing crew and they were so much fun to capture! After the groom was all wrapped up and looking mighty dapper if I do say so myself, we took a few more shots and I left to meet up with Meg and her beautiful bunch!

Meg’s getting ready location was literally a photographers dream come true. Such a gorgeous, bright space, lots of room, with stunning details to shoot! The bride had so many picture perfect pieces! It was hard to stop photographing them! After she was wedding ready, we got on route to a beautiful park just across the street from their venue for the first look.

Wes had one of the best first glance reactions I have ever seen. He was absolutely blown away by his bride, and I mean who wouldn’t be?! Just look at her! She was radiant! After they shared a few quiet moments together we wandered around the grounds of the park, taking photos as we went, and eventually met up with the rest of the bridal party for some group shots!

The rest of the couples special day took place at one of the coolest, intimate venues I have ever worked in - EVENTMRKT. The space there was inviting, warm and perfect for Meg + Wes to celebrate their love! The venue was decorated so elegantly and fit their vibe just right! Megan is an extremely talented calligrapher, ( check her out on instagram @megannicolelettering ) and her attention to detail is remarkable! The decor was breathtaking to say the least! - and again, yet another section of this day that I just couldn’t seem to get enough shots of!

The ceremony was short, sweet, and full of love! After the couple said their I Do’s, cocktail hour began, with drinks and appetizers galore! They even had a magician entertaining the guests with card tricks etc!

Soon after we sat down and enjoyed some more of the amazing food the venue has to offer, listened to some heartfelt toasts and speeches, and opened up the dance floor! The couple and I snuck out to take a few more shots outside the venue and the cool downtown area surrounding it.

Megan + Wes, I am beyond honoured to have been a part of this very special day! You two are such a sweet couple and I wish you a lifetime of love and adventure! Thank you for inviting me to capture your love!
